How to reach Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle

Le Due Sorelle (the Two Sisters) beach is located at the foot of the Conero promontory and can only be reached by sea. Below I will explain the best way to reach it and enjoy it.

Head towards Sirolo, leave your car at the Sirolo cemetery parking and take the road that leads to Sassi Neri beach. It will take you about 20 minutes to get to the beach. Upon your arrival, you will find "Da Silvio" bathhouse where you can rent a canoe for € 15 per hour, € 50 for half a day or € 80 for the whole day. We have chosen the half-day option, from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM. I recommend you to arrive as soon as the bathhouse opens (at 08:00AM), if you want to see the beach completely empty. By canoe it takes about 30 minutes to get there, but it's definitely worth it. We got to the beach first and it was great to have that heavenly space all to ourselves. The white stones, the crystal clear water, the silence.

From 9:30 AM, ferries arrive carrying hundreds of people and the beach begins to lose some of its charm. But you can still enjoy the day in this beautiful place. Around 12:00 we got back on the canoe, we passed by the famous rock of "Due Sorelle", we visited the small cave on the right side of the beach and then we came back to return the canoe.

We were starving, the restaurant near the beach was sold out. So we decided to go to Ancona and try Zucchero a Velò, a vegetarian and vegan restaurant (click here to see the review).
